Wasp stings can be very painful if not treated immediately. They can even prove fatal to some people if allergic reactions are displayed after a wasp sting.

The first remedy that should be applied to a wasp sting is to remove the stinger as soon as possible. Simple tweezers could easily remove the stinger. Pharmacies and major retailers also have stinger-removal kits and are recommended since it could pump out the stinger, especially those that are deep beneath the skin.
Wasp sting contains venom which would cause swelling in the affected area. Cleaning them is very important and a good way to clean them is through soap, water and alcohol. Itching will most likely to happen after the sting and a good way to treat them is to take antihistamine. An injection of Adrenaline could be administered but this is only recommended for those who have been stung with a large number of wasps,
The swelling could be addressed by placing an ice pack on the affected area. You can even use ice that is wrapped in cloth and place them in the affected area.
These wasp sting remedies should be provided as soon as possible. If there is any additional pain felt, such as itching in other parts of the body, difficulty of breathing or nausea, the patient should be taken to the nearest hospital as soon as possible since it’s a sign of an allergic reaction. Although it’s rare, allergic reactions to wasp stings can be fatal.
